| Description | - ESD Heel and Toe grounders are a good alternative to wrist straps when personnel can not be "tied" to a workbench. - Workers who move around in the work area and who need to be grounded, cannot wear a wrist strap that grounds them to a workbench with a coil cord. - Foot grounders function exactly the same way as wrist straps by providing a ground path from the moisture layer on the wearer's skin through the foot grounder to the grounded floor surface. - We recommend that foot grounders be worn on both feet to ensure that one foot is always in contact with the floor or floor mat at all times. - It is important that personnel are instructed in the proper use and maintenance of foot grounders. |
